Few days ago men in triple jump were main characters when they were anounced for Madrid Meeting 2019, today we talk about the sand’s event but long jump in this case. Next Sunday 25ththis discipline will dress up with outstanding international names.
Among the confirmed participants stands out Darya Klishina. This 28 year old jumper got world silver medal in London 2017 and also has three european medals (outdoor bronze in Zurich 2014 and two gold indoor ones in Paris 2011 and Göteborg 2013). She also has a personal best of 7,05and this year has achieved 6,84. With out doubt she will be one of the names to consider but not the only one.
Another athlete who knows how to fly over 7 meters is Ese Brume, the Nigerian finished 5th last Olympic Games in Río de Janeiro 2016 and has a personal best also of 7,05since last August 4th in Bursa (Turkey). Another two athletes with a good personal best this season and also confirmed his presence in Vallehermoso are Chantel Malone, this British Virgin Islands jumper did 6,90last april 26th, and Naa Anang, the Australian jumped 6,81last april 7th. Other interesting names will be the Jamaican Chanice Porter–6,75as personal best- and Italian Laura Strati–6,72as his best jump ever-.
Talking about Spanish names the national leader of the year Fatima Diamewill not miss the Meeting. The Valencian has jumped 6,60this year and has a personal best of 6,68. Fans are also going to see the competition of María Vicente, Leticia Gilor Cora Salas in this event.
